First Haircut

From happy-go-lucky cherub, to dignified elder statesman in a few snips...Pops will soon be giving "the talk." You know the one about styling products. I have charts and graphs. (Any one who knows me, probably does not doubt this)

Discipline In Action

As any parent or person seated near a bratty child on an airplane can testify, children need discipline. As Jen and I are finding out, that is easier said (by anyone who is not the child's parent) than done. This image is a fairly standard reaction to the "NO" command. We cannot quite pinpoint the origins of these willful displays, but we are quite certain that it must be one of those "skipped a generation" things. Cute though, aint he?

Jazz and I went out for a walk today, and half way to the park, the police sped up and jumped out with their pistols drawn and pointed at us. After some shouting and confusion, it turned out that they were just looking for Nick Nolte, who happened to be in town shooting a movie.

The DaJasper Code

The "cool parent" is shown here giving genius lessons to the child prodigy. This particular book contained a series of numbers shrouded in coded mystery by a diabolical looking bunny. The bunny hints in the text that the secret of life could be revealed by cracking the set of numerals contained therein. Jazz shrugged off the challenge, citing a logical deduction that such a code is highly improbable coming from a cartoon bunny. The "cool parent" was proud of the correct and quite advanced conclusion.
